Pretty foggy and gloomy when we left this morning. Almost spooky.

Well, it's the end of day one. I can't believe we will be living in the van for the next almost two months! It seemed a lot bigger yesterday.

Anyway it rained all day, so we stopped at the casino. I played the slots and came out $17.50 ahead. Marty is so generous that he took me out to celebrate and told me I could get anything I wanted from the $1.00 menu, what a sport.

We noted our beginning mileage and thought it would be fun if you could guess our ending mileage. There will of course be a very special prize for the winner.

Well, we should probably get some sleep now that rush hour is over. Did I mention we are camping in a campground right off the highway?

We're off to Mammouth Cave in the morning.
